GUIDE / ACROSS RAMSES

Exchange one token for another

Choose the token you have, choose the token you want, and exchange them on Ramses.

0 of 4 steps done

Step 1 of 4: Choose your tokens

STEP 1 OF 4

Choose your tokens

Open Ramses trade. Select the token to spend and the token you want to receive.

Choose the token to sell and the token to receive.

The swap form shows your two tokens.

1. Choose your tokens

Open Ramses trade. Select the token to spend and the token you want to receive.

The swap form shows your two tokens.

2. Enter an amount

Enter how much you want to exchange. Ramses will show the estimated amount you will receive.

Your swap has an amount and an estimated result.

3. Approve the token if prompted

If Ramses requests token approval, confirm it in your wallet, then return to the swap.

The token is available for this swap.

4. Make the swap

Submit the swap and confirm it in your wallet. Wait for the transaction to finish.

The received token arrives in your wallet.

Advanced Risk Check
Token identity and trade direction

Verify both token contracts on the selected chain, and confirm which asset leaves your wallet. Familiar symbols alone do not establish token identity. Check the amount's units and leave a gas reserve if spending the native token.

Quote and execution limits

Read the expected output, minimum received, route, fees and price impact. Slippage tolerance permits a worse execution result up to a limit; increasing it does not improve the quote. Obtain a complete, current quote before submitting.

Token approvals

Check the token, spending contract and allowance requested. Approval grants a permission and does not complete the swap. Return to the trade preview after approval and refresh the quote if needed.

Confirmation and receipts

Compare the wallet request with the swap preview before confirming. Afterward, use the confirmed swap receipt and received token balance to establish completion before submitting another trade.

Missing quotes or failed swaps

If no route appears, check the network, token contracts and available liquidity for the trade size. If a swap fails, read the reason and refresh the quote, gas and allowance information. Do not repeatedly submit or blindly raise slippage.

Troubleshooting

No route or no complete quote is available.

Recheck the network and token contracts. Refresh the quote and consider whether the trade size exceeds available depth. Do not submit an incomplete quote.

The swap reverts after the quote changes.

Read the reported reason, obtain a fresh quote and review minimum received, gas and allowance. Do not blindly raise slippage or repeatedly submit the same request.

Approval succeeded but the output token did not arrive.

Check whether the actual swap was submitted and confirmed. Return to the current trade preview; do not infer that approval moved the input tokens.
