Turn RAM into xRAM

Under the documented setup, converting 100 RAM creates 100 xRAM.

  • Of that RAM, 50 is burned and 50 backs direct redemption.
  • Directly redeeming 100 xRAM returns 50 RAM under the documented setup.
More detail

Under the documented setup, 100 RAM creates 100 xRAM: 50 RAM is burned and 50 RAM remains as direct-redemption backing. Direct redemption of 100 xRAM returns 50 RAM. Verify current settings and unstaking availability.

Advanced Risk Check
Write down your exit steps

Check the exact product and network before entering.

  • Name the token you own and the token you expect back.
  • Check whether you must sell, redeem, unstake, or wait through a locked period.
  • Read the quoted output, minimum received, and transaction costs.
More detail

Answer each question for the specific product and chain before entering.

  • Which token do I own now, and which token will this action return?
  • Is this an open-market swap or contract redemption?
  • Does redemption require an underlying unstake or a later xRAM-to-RAM conversion?
  • Are there lock windows, cooldowns or unprocessed rewards?
  • What are the quoted output, minimum received and transaction costs?

Turn RAM into xRAM

Under the documented setup, converting 100 RAM creates 100 xRAM.

  • Of that RAM, 50 is burned and 50 backs direct redemption.
  • Directly redeeming 100 xRAM returns 50 RAM under the documented setup.

Stake xRAM to vote

Staked xRAM provides voting power for eligible pool reward contracts, called gauges.

  • Stake xRAM to choose which eligible pools receive emissions.
  • Your chosen staking product determines how voting and rewards are handled.

Let r33 or hyperRAM reinvest rewards

This wrapper represents staked xRAM. It votes automatically and reinvests rewards into the xRAM backing its shares.

  • It is called hyperRAM on HyperEVM; r33 has a published Robinhood contract.
  • Each share represents part of the product’s staked xRAM.

Use an AutoVault for claimable rewards

Documented HyperEVM AutoVaults vote automatically and turn rewards into a supported token you can claim.

  • Choose your reward token from the AutoVault’s available options.
  • Claim rewards separately while your deposited xRAM remains in the vault.

Choose a way to withdraw

Each product has its own withdrawal route. r33 and hyperRAM can also be sold through a swap.

  • A wrapper redemption returns xRAM; direct xRAM redemption returns RAM.
  • An AutoVault withdrawal returns your deposited xRAM.

Choose what gets done automatically

Compare the work each product handles and where its rewards go.

  • Manual staked xRAM: you choose pools, vote, and claim your rewards.
  • r33 or hyperRAM reinvests into xRAM; AutoVaults create a supported token reward to claim.
  • A separate liquidity position uses its own price range.

Count shares and backing separately

Example: 100 shares backed by 120 xRAM means 1.2 xRAM per share. Ten shares represent 12 xRAM.

  • At the documented direct-redemption rate, 12 xRAM corresponds to 6 RAM before costs and restrictions.
  • A market sale exchanges your shares at the available trading price.

See your balance and its value

Your product shows a share or stake balance, backing or claimable rewards, and a value based on token prices.

  • A wrapper shows the xRAM backing each share and its market value.
  • An AutoVault can earn claimable rewards while its deposited xRAM stays unchanged.

How burns change the RAM supply

Distinguish usable balances from the token’s reported totalSupply.

  • Robinhood dead-address transfers remove usable RAM without reducing the token’s totalSupply counter.
  • RAM-to-xRAM conversion is separate. Compare issuance and removals over the same period before claiming net deflation.

Robinhood revenue buys RAM

Since October 14, 2026, all Robinhood protocol revenue routes to BuybackModule for market purchases of RAM. Sarcophagus is closed there.

  • The fee-only default remains 95% LPs / 5% protocol; buybacks use the protocol portion.
  • Authorized execution sends RAM to the dead address without reducing Robinhood totalSupply.
  • Direct RAM input can skip the purchase. Buybacks guarantee neither price gains nor net deflation.

Read a completed market buy

The October 15, 2026 receipt shows WETH exchanged for RAM, then RAM transferred to the dead address.

  • Check the successful receipt, input token, swap output and destination.
  • An event alone does not prove a purchase: direct RAM input can skip the market swap.

Advanced Risk Check (optional)

More token backing does not guarantee a higher dollar value or an instant exit.

Directly redeeming 100 xRAM returns 50 RAM; check current settings and unstaking limits.

Holding RAM alone does not give the same voting role.

Holding unstaked xRAM does not run a reward strategy for you.

One share does not promise one RAM, a steady dollar value, or an instant exit.

Use an AutoVault for claimable rewards: Documented HyperEVM AutoVaults vote automatically and turn rewards into a supported token you can claim. Check which reward tokens your AutoVault supports. Those rewards do not increase your deposited xRAM principal.

Understand the exit before entering: Conversion rules, processing times, withdrawal availability, and market liquidity affect how you can leave. Read the steps and timing for your specific product. Reinvested rewards and token burns do not guarantee a rising price.

Manual staked xRAM: you choose votes and review claims.

These voting products do not manage a separate LP price range.

Selling shares on a market can return a different amount; check the current quote.

Track three different numbers: Record your shares or stake, the tokens backing them or available to claim, and their dollar value. A wrapper can gain xRAM backing while its dollar value falls. An AutoVault can earn claimable rewards while its deposited xRAM stays unchanged.

Token burns do not predict price: Burns remove usable RAM. New token issuance adds RAM. Both matter when measuring supply changes. Compare tokens added and removed over the same period. Supply changes alone do not prove a dollar gain.

Execution is role-gated, not continuous or permissionless. Approved aggregators, maximum input and minimum RAM output constrain swaps. RAM already held can be sent directly to the dead address without a market purchase.

This update applies to Robinhood only. HyperEVM MEV handling and legacy r33 burials are separate mechanisms. Further Robinhood emissions changes are planned, not established as live.

A successful Robinhood transaction at block 88827919 on October 15, 2026 at 01:23 UTC spent 0.071744581440628082 WETH and sent 2611.034882007904115227 RAM to the dead address. This verifies one market buy, not a fixed future cadence or that every module event includes a purchase.
